Nyt Cooking Pecan Pie Truffles
Once all scoops have been formed roll each scoop into a ball with your hands the mixture will be crumbly use the heat from your hands to bring the truffle together.
Nyt cooking pecan pie truffles. Line crust with parchment and fill with pie weights. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls and place on wax paper. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Ingredients needed for these delicious truffles are toasted pecans light corn syrup graham crackers brown sugar salt maple syrup vanilla and dipping chocolate. Pecan Pie Balls dangerously delicious. Place truffles back on the baking sheet and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
First throw your pecans and graham crackers into your food processor and pulse them until a fine mixture is. Remove from oven and carefully remove pie weights and parchment. I could eat the whole batch.
Great for parties tailgating and homemade gifts. Place pecans along the bottom of the crust. Like traditional rum balls these offer a slightly alcoholic kick so be sure to monitor any underage guests.
These Pecan Pie Truffles also freeze really well. This is lightly adapted from the NYT Cooking recipe with less booze and weight measurements which is easier and involves less cleanup. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until just set around the edges but still slightly.
