You can use different types of flour if you want to experiment with whole wheat or buckwheat.

Whisk flour sugar baking powder and the salt in a medium bowl. 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted. Once you make these you will know for sure.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry mixing until just combined. Mix 1 tbsp of ground flax and 3 tbsp of warm water together in a small dish and set aside for a few minutes until it forms a gel. Using the whisk make a well in the center.
